Message from the President
Natura's president Alessandro Carlucci presents the company's new Sustainability Vision and talks about the outlook for Natura as it sets a course aimed at generating a positive impact for the whole of society.
In 2013, Natura beat its target of reducing relative greenhouse gas emissions by 33% compared with 2006. This is the result of a commitment the company assumed in 2007 with the launch of its Carbon Neutral program. Here you may see how Natura managed to increase production while reducing emissions.
In 2014, Natura inaugurated the Ecoparque in Benevides, Pará. The industrial complex represents a landmark in the company's relations with the Amazon region. A story which began in 2000 and involves a shared value model which keeps the forest standing and generates prosperity and development for local extractivist communities and for the region as a whole.
Find out what the Natura Network is and how it works – a pilot project that was tested successfully in the Campinas and São José dos Campos regions. The initiative will be extended to other parts of Brazil from 2014.
